This social hangout space is a welcoming, facilitator-guided environment where kids can just be kids—free to play and connect. It's designed to nurture friendships that might be hard to form in other settings, offering a supportive space where every member is included and valued.

 

Through subtle guidance and various intriguing activities, facilitators use their expertise in helping form friendships by providing a little nudge for connection.

Eligibility:

• Youth ages 12-18 (older youth may prefer The Lounge but consult with a facilitator for potential exceptions)

• Youth are required to have self-regulation and basic social engagement skills

• ​located in or able to travel to Barrie, ON

• No diagnosis necessary and inclusive to those with one (or many)

• Not intended for youth with significant risk behaviours (consult with a facilitator if needed)
